Heart Circles take place in Manchester twice a month – on the first Wednesday and third Sunday. Any ECC member is welcome to attend. There is no charge, and you do not need to book.
The Wednesday Heart Circle meets at 6.30pm for a 7.00pm start. The venue is The Lesbian and Gay Foundation (Princess House, 105-107 Princess Street, Manchester M1 6DD). You can find directions on their website: www.lgf.org.uk LGF is accessible for most levels of mobility and Princess House has a disabled platform lift at the entrance and a lift to all floors.
The Sunday Heart Circle meets at 3pm for a 3.30pm start. The venue is the Sabai Lounge, downstairs at Taurus Bar (1 Canal Street, Manchester M1 3HE). You can find directions on their website: www.taurus-bar.co.uk Please be aware that although the bar and restaurant at Taurus is at ground level, the Sabai Lounge is down a flight of stairs and does not have disabled access facilities.
Heart Circles last around 1.5 hours and are usually followed by a 30-minute business meeting (there’s no obligation to attend this). Afterwards people usually get together and go for a drink.
Heart Circles in Manchester as well as the Life Drawing Class are supported by a grant from Manchester Pride Community Fund.
